Yuki stammt aus der letzten großen Fangaktion in Es Cubells 2017. Die ca. 7-8 jährige Hündin hat ihr halbes Leben in der Perrera verbracht.

Mai 2022 Jahr konnte DUO sie übernehmen. Man konnte sie damals gar nicht anfassen und sie lief nur geduckt oder bewegte sich am besten gar nicht. Bloss nicht auffallen war ihre Devise aber auch sie hat eine grandiose Entwicklung hingelegt. Yuki ist ein sensibler, vorsichtiger Charakter, den wir aber in den letzten Monaten mehr und mehr festigen konnten. Sie freut sich über andere Hunde, geht gern spazieren, ist gut leinenführig, ist aufmerksam im Gelände unterwegs und kann sich mittlerweile in Menschennähe auch mehr entspannen. Müsste sie sich allerdings zwischen Couch und Spaziergang entscheiden, würde sie lieber auf der Couch liegen bleiben. Ist sie allerdings mit spazieren, hat man das Gefühl, dass ihr das doch sehr gut gefällt. Man muss sie manchmal etwas anschieben, damit sie das bunte Leben mehr erkennt.

So richtig würde sie aber sicher erst aufblühen, wenn sie nicht eine von vielen Hunden wäre und ihr somit mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewdimet werden würde. Sie fährt gut im Auto so dass man mit ihr auch Ausflüge machen kann, wobei sie keine Großstadtliebhaberin ist. Gesucht wird ein Zuhause bei angsthunderfahrenen Menschen, die mit Zeit und Geduld weiter mit ihr arbeiten wollen. Ein bereits vorhandener Hund an dem sie sich orientieren kann wäre von Vorteil, ist aber kein Muss. Wie fast alle Podencos hat sie Jagdtrieb und kann nicht ohne Leine laufen, dieser ist aber bisher nicht besonders ausgeprägt. Sie steht eher und guckt dem Hasen aufmerksam beim Weglaufen zu.  Yuki ist natürlich geimpft, gechipt und kastriert.

Yuki comes from the last big capture operation in Es Cubells in 2017. The approx. 7-8 year old female has spent half her life in the Perrera.

DUO was able to take over in May 2022. At that time you couldn't even catch her and she seemed to be crouched or, ideally, not moving at all. Her motto was not to attract attention, but she too has made great development. Yuki is a sensible, cautious character, but we have been able to strengthen her character in the last few months. She is happy with other dogs, likes to go for walks, is easy to walk on a leash, is attentive in the terrain and can now relax more when around people. However, if she had to choose between the couch and a walk, she would rather stay on the couch. However, when she goes for a walk, you get the feeling that she really likes it. Sometimes you have to give her a little push so that she can see the colorful life more.

But she would only really blossom if she wasn't one of many dogs and therefore more attention was paid to her. She drives well in the car, so you can go on trips with her, although she is not a big city lover. We are looking for a home with people who are experienced in anxiety and who want to continue working with her with time and patience. An existing dog that you can use as a guide can be an advantage, but is not a must. How quickly all Podencos have a hunting instinct and cannot run without a leash, but this has not yet been particularly pronounced. She rather stands and watches the rabbit carefully as it runs away. Yuki is of course vaccinated, chipped and neutered and owns a passport.
