GAYA is also a 3-year-old daughter of Kalea and was surrendered to us with her pack by a hunter at the beginning of summer 2024. Gaya is still quite shy, but is gradually becoming more and more comfortable. She walks well on a leash, is social with other dogs, and is becoming increasingly curious and open towards us. So far, we haven't noticed any strong hunting instinct on walks. Since she is still somewhat reserved, it would certainly be advantageous if the new home had an existing, confident first dog, preferably a Podenco/A, that she could look up to. However, this is not a must.
