Thor , the beautiful, large Labrador Retriever, was adopted from a private home. Naturally, he had a difficult time settling in at the shelter for the first few days, but he's now settling in well and has found many other canine companions. Sometimes he's a bit overwhelmed by his weight and energy; he can be like an overgrown puppy, which is also quite endearing. He's social with the other dogs, loves to play, is attentive, and is happy to see and receive affection from every person—no matter how unfamiliar they are. He's also learning to calm down, which is already going well. A lovable, big teddy bear, he's waiting to discover the good things in life by the side of a human companion.   LU
