JUNO hasn't been with us for very long, but he's already developed quite well. It's still not easy to touch him and therefore to put him on a leash. But once you've carefully managed that, he's like a different dog. He's slowly becoming more sociable and is learning the good things from the other dogs. He walks well on a leash and enjoys sniffing on walks. Thanks to these positive experiences, he's becoming more open and sometimes even comes a little closer on his own. We were amazed when we recently took him to the vet for a check-up. He traveled well in the car, and even in the waiting room and during the examination itself, he was relaxed and handled everything wonderfully. If he were in a home or foster home where he could receive individual attention and was always part of the household, perhaps with a confident resident dog, he would certainly progress much faster. We try our best to work with him individually whenever possible, but of course, it will still be some time before we can place him in his new home.
