RITA, the charming young German Shepherd mix, is incredibly eager to learn; she really blossoms when she is mentally challenged!
Although she is naturally alert and active, she can also calm down and relax well. She displays good social behavior when interacting with other dogs.
She is very open and friendly towards people – she can hardly contain her enthusiasm when she sees us. She doesn't yet understand why she's supposed to use blankets in her kennel in her enclosure; she obviously doesn't place much importance on extra comfort :-) but she hasn't been with us long and probably isn't used to that from her past. She also already walks well on a leash and is a wonderful companion. We are looking for active people for her who can provide her with adequate physical and mental exercise.
